Terms of Service

1. Service Agreement

By requesting locksmith services from Austin Locksmiths, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our services include but are not limited to residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith work, including lockouts, key duplication, lock installation, and security system upgrades.

All services are performed by licensed and insured professionals. We reserve the right to refuse service if we cannot verify property ownership or authorization to access the property.

2. Pricing & Payment

We provide upfront pricing estimates before beginning work. Final pricing may vary based on the complexity of the job, parts required, and time of service (emergency after-hours rates may apply).

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. A service call fee may apply and will be disclosed before dispatch.

Emergency services (outside regular business hours) may incur additional charges. These rates will be clearly communicated when you call.

3. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after our technician has been dispatched may be subject to a service call fee.

For emergency services, if you are not present when our technician arrives at the scheduled location, you may be charged a service call fee.

4. Liability Limitations

While we take every precaution to prevent damage during service, Austin Locksmiths is not liable for pre-existing damage to locks, doors, or vehicles. We carry full insurance coverage for work-related damages.

We are not responsible for the contents of vehicles, homes, or businesses once access has been provided. You are responsible for securing your property after our service is complete.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for consequential damages or losses resulting from lockouts or security breaches.

5. Service Guarantees

We stand behind our work. All labor and parts are guaranteed for 90 days from the date of service. If you experience any issues with our work, contact us immediately and we will make it right at no additional charge.

This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, attempted break-ins, or natural wear and tear after service completion.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns about our service, please contact us directly at (512) 354-0025. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and promptly.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved directly shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Travis County, Texas.
