By accessing our website, requesting a service quote, or receiving locksmith services from Austin Locksmiths, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

Austin Locksmiths provides professional locksmith services including but not limited to:

• Emergency lockout assistance (residential, commercial, automotive)
• Lock installation, repair, and replacement
• Key duplication and cutting
• Rekeying services
• Security system installation and upgrades
• Safe opening and combination changes
• Master key system installation

All services are provided by licensed and insured technicians in accordance with Texas state regulations.

By requesting our locksmith services, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the legal owner or authorized occupant of the property or vehicle requiring service
• You have the legal right to request access to the property or vehicle
• All information provided to us is accurate and truthful

We reserve the right to request proof of ownership or authorization before providing services. This may include government-issued ID, vehicle registration, property deed, lease agreement, or other documentation. We may refuse service if adequate proof cannot be provided or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

Service Fees:

• All service fees will be quoted upfront before work begins
• Emergency and after-hours services may incur additional charges
• Trip charges may apply based on service location and distance
• Pricing may vary based on lock type, service complexity, and time of day

Payment Terms:

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made
• We accept cash, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and debit cards
• A service fee may apply for declined or returned payments
• For commercial accounts, net 30-day terms may be available upon credit approval

Price Changes:

If the scope of work changes after an initial quote is provided, we will inform you of any price adjustments before proceeding with additional work. You have the right to decline additional services.

Scheduled Appointments:

• Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment
• No-shows or late cancellations (less than 2 hours notice) may incur a service fee
• Emergency services cannot be cancelled after dispatch

Emergency Services:

Once a technician has been dispatched for an emergency service call, a trip charge applies even if you cancel or are unavailable upon arrival. This compensates for fuel, time, and opportunity cost.

Workmanship Warranty:

We stand behind our work. All labor is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. If you experience issues related to our workmanship within this period, we will return to correct the problem at no additional charge.

Parts and Materials:

• Parts and materials are covered by manufacturer warranties
• Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and product type
• We will assist with warranty claims when applicable

Warranty Exclusions:

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear. Forced entry services (lockouts) are not covered by warranty as they may cause damage to existing locks.

While we take great care in providing professional services, Austin Locksmiths shall not be liable for:

• Damage to locks, doors, or vehicles during emergency lockout situations when forced entry is necessary
• Pre-existing damage not caused by our services
• Loss or theft occurring after our services are completed
• Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
• Delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Emergency lockout services are prioritized based on severity and order received. While we strive to provide rapid response (typically within 20 minutes), response times may vary based on:

• Current call volume and technician availability
• Your location relative to our service area
• Traffic and weather conditions
• Time of day and day of week

Emergency services may include premium pricing for after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls.

Austin Locksmiths is:

• Licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety
• Fully bonded and insured
• In compliance with all Texas locksmith regulations

All technicians undergo background checks and hold valid locksmith licenses as required by Texas state law.

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Austin Locksmiths or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
